You will be employed at the Department of Cell and Molecular Biology (ICM), which is one of Europe's most prominent biomolecular departments. Your role will be placed at the national infrastructure National Bioinformatics Infrastructure Sweden (NBIS), which constitutes the Bioinformatics Platform at Science for Life Laboratory (SciLifeLab) – Sweden's hub for molecular life sciences. Together with the NBIS Data Management unit, you will play a key role in developing and implementing data management to meet future needs within data-driven Life Science research. We are seeking a candidate who wants to help enable life science research in Sweden that goes beyond what is achievable by individual researchers, a single university, or a single research field. You will contribute to strengthening data management within Swedish life science research, and within SciLifeLab in particular. A major focus will be on the development and implementation of effective, cross-organizational solutions for the FAIRification of research data for both researchers and data-producing infrastructures. An important part of the work is also to educate researchers in principles and approaches for managing and sharing different types of research data, as well as being engaged in competence-raising networking within research data management in Sweden. To perform the work travelling is needed, both nationally and internationally.
The applicant shall have a master's degree within the areas of Life Science, Information Technology, or Bioinformatics, or shall possess an equivalent or higher level of understanding within one or several of these areas acquired by other means. Furthermore you must have:
