Job description:

Our research group has contributed to the discovery of >25 risk loci associated with development of SLE. Some of these single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) are associated with specific manifestations of the disease such as cardiovascular disease manifestations. Recently, we focus on investigating the effect of cumulative genetics on disease mechanisms and phenotype. In this project, we will also investigate the impact of immunogenetics on disease mechanisms and phenotype in the general population. To do this we will analyze large available datasets and our own SLE cohort with extensive genetic, epigenetic and clinical data.

We expect our new colleague to independently plan and perform analysis in collaboration with the rest of the team. Presentation of data and writing manuscripts will also be of great importance.
