PR-amanuens at the Master's program in Data Science - Hiring in process/Finished, not possible to apply

The Department of Information Technology holds a leading position in both research and education at all levels. We are currently Uppsala University's third largest department, have around 350 employees, including 120 teachers and 120 PhD students. Approximately 5,000 undergraduate students take one or more courses at the department each year. You can find more information about us on the Department of Information Technology website.

The Department of Information Technology is now recruiting a PR-amanuens for 1 year (20%) at the Master's program in Data Science.

Duties
As PR-amanuens for the Master's program in Data Science, you are a contact person for prospective students and help collecting and organising information about companies interested in hiring data scientists after graduation. Tasks vary, but common ones include coordinating events, helping the programme coordinator and study advisor to produce and organise information for students, assisting at study fairs.

Requirements
Employment as a student assistant is regulated by the Higher Education Ordinance, Chapter 5. Only those who are admitted to education at the undergraduate or advanced level may be employed as student assistants (Higher Education Ordinance, Chapter 5 §10).

The applicant must be admitted to the Master's program in Data Science, with good study results. The work involves many contacts and great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

About the employment
The employment is a temporary position for 1 year according to the Higher Education Ordinance chapter 5 § 12. Scope of employment 20 %.  Starting date 1st of July 2024 or as agreed. Placement: Uppsala
