Uppsala University, Department of Game Design

Department of Game design is located at Uppsala University, Campus Gotland, an international campus in central Visby, a World Heritage city. Here, the best of both worlds may be found: the broad range and influence in education and research of a full-scale university, along with the unique study environment of a small-scale campus.

The Department of Game Design is part of the Faculty of Arts  at Uppsala University. Its teaching and research alike are highly advanced. The Department has some 450 full-time students, roughly half of whom are from outside Sweden, and about 45 employees in various job categories. It offers teaching in game design and development at basic and advanced level, with graphics, project management and programming as minors. All education takes place in English.

To strengthen the Department's education in game programming, we are now looking for a Substitute, lecturer in game design, specialising in programming, at the Department of Game Design at Uppsala University - Campus Gotland.
