Job description: SciLifeLab Data Centre is looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Data Steward to provide expertise on issues relating to data management and FAIR towards SciLifeLab’s data producing platforms. In your role, you will raise the quality, reproducibility and availability of SciLifeLab generated data. You will work with data from genomics, proteomics, microscopy, chemical biology and several other areas, and interact with researchers, engineers and bioinformaticians to develop methods and processes for, for example, FAIRification, data management plans, meta data handling, quality control, reproducibility and data publishing. The successful candidate will also be expected to participate in national and international projects on research data management.
During the first year, this position is tightly linked to the Swedish national Covid-19 data portal operated by the team, https://covid19dataportal.se, in collaboration with European infrastructures (EMBL-EBI, ELIXIR and EOSC).
