About the research group and the WHOLE Centre
The Obstetric and Reproductive Health Research group has the overall aim of improving the health of women, mothers and children through research. Our research includes adolescent health, reproduction, diagnostics and treatment of pregnancy- and postpartum-related conditions, menopause, and women’s mental health.
The group conducts large population-based and register-based studies, including the BASIC and Mom2B projects. The work is based on cohort studies, register-based research, and interdisciplinary collaborations focusing on maternal mental health and pregnancy outcomes. The research environment is international, collaborative, and research-intensive. The group works in close collaboration with the interdisciplinary research centre WHOLE – An Interdisciplinary Centre for Women’s Health Over the Lifecourse: at the intersection of reproductive transitions, mental health and pain. WHOLE is a long-term interdisciplinary research centre dedicated to improving women’s health from a life-course perspective. The centre brings together 17 disciplines from medicine, engineering, social sciences and the humanities, and integrates biological, psychological, social and cultural perspectives across the female life course. Through innovative methods, including longitudinal studies, laboratory-based and AI-based analyses, and patient-centred research, new knowledge, diagnostic innovations, and more equitable models of care are developed in close collaboration with patients, healthcare professionals, and decision-makers.

Duties
The position involves research support in ongoing projects in women’s health. Duties include, but are not limited to:
• recruitment of study participants and coordination within research projects
• data collection, data management, and study documentation
• sample handling and documentation within research projects
• statistical analyses in R and SPSS
• literature reviews and support in scientific writing
• preparation of scientific reports, presentations, and data visualisations
• administrative coordination within the research group
• support in grant applications, reporting, and other research administration
• updating the website and social media as part of research communication
The position also includes administrative support to researchers, as well as coordination of meetings and collaborations.
Requirements
We are looking for someone who has:
• a degree in medicine, biomedicine, or another related field
• documented experience of working in research projects
• experience of literature reviews and scientific writing
• experience of data management and analysis using relevant research tools
• experience of working with R, SPSS, REDCap, Covidence, Rayyan, and Zotero or EndNote
• good experience of working with digital collaboration and office tools, such as MS Office, Teams, and Google Workspace
• experience of planning and coordinating meetings and preparing presentations and research materials
• experience of research communication, including web and/or social media
• very good oral and written communication skills in English
• good ability to communicate in Swedish
• good collaborative skills and the ability to work independently
• a structured, careful, and flexible way of working, with the ability to manage several tasks in parallel
Additional qualifications
It is considered an advantage if you have:
• experience of research in perinatal mental health, reproductive health, or other women’s health-related research
• experience of cohort studies and register-based studies
• experience of sample handling and work involving biobanks or biological samples
• experience of research support in larger interdisciplinary projects or research centres
• experience of contributing to research applications, reporting, or research communication
