Duties and Responsibilities
The role is an independent role, which means you take a lot of responsibility to move your work forward and to prioritise among tasks. At the same time you are part of our administrative team, with colleagues in finance, HR and teaching administration.
As a Research Administrator, you will lead the dissemination of the department’s research, education and outreach activities. Your work focuses on producing content that is clear, accessible and tailored to both internal and external audiences.
Key tasks include creating engaging content about the department and its activities, such as written materials, infographics, short-form videos and podcasts, and publishing these through web platforms, social media and relevant networks. You will be responsible for the department’s website, including publishing and editing content aimed at students, staff, and external stakeholders such as partners and end-users.
You will also work to improve the functionality and usability of the department’s internal and external websites in collaboration with system developers and central university functions. In close dialogue with department management, you will help develop a dissemination strategy and contribute to strengthening the department’s external profile.
The role involves close collaboration with researchers, teachers and administrative staff, including writing and editing texts in both English and Swedish. You will also participate in planning and delivering external events such as workshops, lectures and doctoral defenses.
