Researcher position in Pharmacometrics

The Department of Pharmacy at Uppsala University has an interdisciplinary environment at the center of the pharmaceutical arena. The department has approximately 150 employees and a turnover of approximately 140 million. We are looking for a postdoc in statistics/pharmacometrics.

Duties
The project involves the analysis of pharmacokinetic data from a pediatric study of pretomanid. The method to be used is non-linear mixed-effects modeling. The results will be presented to international collaborators and summarized in a report.

Requirements
PhD degree in pharmacometrics. Experience with NONMEM and R-programming is a requirement.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability and experience of programming-based data management. The applicant must be able to express him/herself well, both in oral and written English. The applicant should also have good collaboration skills and demonstrated capability to conduct a scientific project in a structured and methodological manner.

Additional qualifications

Experience in working with pediatric pharmacokinetic studies of novel anti-tuberculosis agents and the development of dosing regimens for children.

About the employment

The employment is a temporary position, 6 months. Scope of employment 100 %. Starting date 2 June 2025 or as agreed. Placement: Uppsala
