2 Teaching assistants

Do you want to work alongside your studies? We need two teaching assistants to help with the teaching and administration of the online course Vindkraftskurs.se.

The Department of Earth Sciences at Uppsala University is Sweden´s largest and most versatile department of its kind. We are approximately 280 employees. Our activities are interdisciplinary and combine natural science and technology with social science. We have research programs in air, water and landscape science; geophysics; natural resources and sustainable development; petrology, mineralogy and tectonics; paleobiology, and wind energy. By investigating the history of Earth, we understand how our planet has developed over time and how sustainable development benefits from this knowledge.

At the division Wind energy we combine leading research on wind energy modeling with interdisciplinary research on sustainable energy transition. We investigate topics such as how to maximize the electricity production from wind farms and how a transition to a sustainable energy system can be achieved.

Duties
Duties include teaching, administration or participation in research or artistic research.

• Create education material for the online course Vindkraftskurs.se
• Assist in teaching and administration of Vindkraftskurs.se
• Other administrative tasks in the group

Requirements
For employment as a teaching assistant, it is a requirement that you are admitted as a student at undergraduate or advanced level in Wind Power Project Management field. You should have good knowledge in both written and spoken Swedish.

Additional qualifications
It´s a merit to have skills in producing graphic/video material for education.

About the employment
The employment is a temporary position for 3 month according to the Higher Education Ordinance chapter 5 § 12. Scope of employment 20%. Starting date 2025-02-15 or as agreed. Placement: Visby
