UCDP
The Uppsala Conflict Data Program (UCDP) at Uppsala university is the world’s main provider of data on organized violence and the oldest ongoing data collection project for civil war, with a history of over 40 years. Its definition of armed conflict has become the global standard of how conflicts are defined and systematically studied.

Another task will be to update and write new texts in the program's encyclopedia. Other tasks may be added based on the needs of the program.

Requirements
Applicants must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in peace and conflict studies, or the equivalent
  • Good knowledge of political violence and theories of peace and conflict
