Duties
The research project aims at increase the knowledge about how the mechanical properties of different materials affect their tablet-forming ability and how this can be predicted by analyzing the compression process. The work will primarily be experimental, mainly involving the production of tablets and the characterization of the raw materials and the obtained formulations. The work also includes processing experimental data and compiling results. Administrative tasks at the department may occur to some extent.

Qualifications
In order to be eligible for employment as a research assistant, the applicant must have obtained a degree in a field relevant to the project, such as pharmacy, chemical engineering, chemistry or physics, and have a good command of spoken and written English. Experience with laboratory work and experience using excel for data processing. Personal suitability, motivation and interest in and experience of research in a relevant field are meritorious.
