Duties
Assistant in research in the subject of Bioinformatics. Method development for creating AI solutions for analyzing single cell morphology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject.
• Completed project in single cell analysis of cell painting data.
• Experience with multivariate methods, supervised and unsupervised machine learning including deep neural networks and self-supervised transformers, applied to data from single cell morphology.
• Good programming skills in Python and version control with git.
• Experience with virtualized computing resources, Kubernetes clusters, GPU, and high-performance computing centers.
• Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English, as well as good documentation skills.

Desired/Meritorious
Image analysis with the software Cell Profiler and Deep Profiler. 

About the position
The position is limited to 5 months. It is a full-time position. Start date: August 1, 2024. Location: Uppsala.
