Duties
Assistant in research in the subject of cell biology with a focus on cell morphological profiling of chemical perturbations using Cell Painting. Bioinformatics analysis of images with Cell Profiler and multivariate analysis of extracted features.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject.
• Completed laboratory project in Cell Painting with automated microscopy and automated FlowBot for pipetting applications
• Experience with cell culture, maintenance of cell cultures, development of disease models.
• Experience with step by step protocols to manipulate cell lines
• Experience with image analysis using CellProfiler from multichannel microscopy for cell profiling with multiple fluorescent stainings.
• Experience with multivariate data analysis with unsupervised methods, virtualized computing resources, and Jupyter notebooks.
• Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English, as well as good documentation skills.

About the position
The position is temporary, limited to 8 months. It is a full-time position. Start date: August 1, 2024 or as agreed. Location: Uppsala.
