Uppsala University, Department of Literature

At the Department of Literature and Rhetoric there are two main subject areas: literature and rhetoric. In both, education is provided at all levels, from A-level courses to postgraduate studies. Literary research in Uppsala has a great breadth in time and space, as well as in terms of theoretical positions and methodological approaches. The researchers' interests range from antiquity to the present day, and they study both theoretical issues and historical or contemporary materials. Information about the department can be found at www.littvet.uu.se.
