Junior Lecturer in Information Systems, temporary position - Hiring in process/Finished, not possible to apply

The Department of Informatics and Media has a broad research profile based in current research areas focused on information systems, interaction design and media and communication. The Department of Informatics and Media has teaching assignments on program education and independent courses within the Faculty of Social Sciences.

Tasks
The position concerns course responsibility, teaching and examination on the courses 2IS081 Datamining and Applied Machine Learning and 2IS077 Big Data Analytics. Other teaching, supervision, examination and administration in addition to these courses may be added. Active participation in the department's work requires presence at the workplace.

Requirements
A university degree and the ability to teach in Swedish or English is required. Applicants will be chosen based on an overall assessment of their ability to carry out the tasks and contribute to a positive development of the department.

The applicant needs skills in planning, implementation and evaluation of teaching. The position requires the ability to work together and to be able to independently run and complete tasks within given time frames, even during temporary work peaks. Emphasis will be placed on personal suitability, the ability to take own initiative and solve problems in a constructive way.

About the employment
The employment is a temporary position, for 6 months. Scope of employment is 100 %. Starting date 2024-10-01 or as agreed. Placement: Uppsala.
