It is well equipped with modern down-hole logging equipment, labs for rock physics and paleomagnetism and electromagnetic field equipment. The program runs the Swedish National Seismic Network, consisting of 67 permanent broadband seismographs, and has an instrument pool for temporary seismological field studies. Further information about the program and the department can be found at the Department of Earth Sciences.
