The Unit for International mobility is part of the Division for Internationalisation and is responsible for administration and dissemination of international mobility opportunities for students at Uppsala University. We are looking for a number of students who have previous or ongoing experience in international mobility.

Duties
In a team of Study Abroad Ambassadors you will, in cooperation with the Unit for International Mobility, raise awareness of the various types of international mobility available to students at Uppsala University. The team will need to plan and execute both physical and digital events in a professional manner as well as create content for our social media channels. In addition, the team will work during the Arrival Days with the welcoming of new international students once per semester. Each member of the team is anticipated to work approximately 120-150 working hours during the academic year 2023-2024.

Requirements

• You must be a registered student at Bachelor's or Master's level education at Uppsala University during the academic year of 2023–2024.
• At the start of employment, you have completed an academic exchange of one or two semesters at one of Uppsala University's partner universities or have completed an Erasmus traineeship.
• You must be able to communicate in English and Swedish, in both speech and writing.
• You must be a student on a campus in Uppsala.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal skills such as creativity, ability to work independently and organizational skills.

Additional qualifications
You have experience of working with social media and/or Canva and you have good verbal presentation skills.

About the employment
Type of employment is hourly employment according to the Higher Education Ordinance chapter 5 § 12. Scope of employment approximately 120-150 hours per academic year. Starting date 17 August 2023. Placement: Uppsala.
