The Department of Pharmacy at Uppsala University has an interdisciplinary environment at the center of the pharmaceutical arena. Duties
The project will involve establishment of pharmacokinetic (PK) and pharmacodynamic (PD) relationships/models for therapies against cancer in children. Pharmacometric models will be developed that describe the relationship between dose-concentration-toxicity, and which can be used to develop strategies to optimize therapy in individual patients.

Requirements 
The applicant must have a Master degree in pharmaceutical, medical, technical natural science or a related field. Applicants must have documented experience of project work in pharmacokinetics-pharmacodynamics in NONMEM or equivalent software for population analysis.

We attach great importance to personal suitability as well as motivation and interest in improving methods for therapy development in oncology. The applicant must be able to express him/herself well, both orally and in writing, in English. Applicants must be able to work independently and in a group.

Special merits
Pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic modeling and simulation based on clinical study data in oncology, preferably with a focus on treating children. Interest in, and skill in, scientific writing is highly desirable.
