Applicants are expected to conduct research in theoretical physics related to quantum field theory and string theory. The candidate will have a PhD in theoretical physics or equivalent and should have working knowledge of supersymmetric quantum field theory. Preference will be given to candidates with proven expertise on the subject of three dimensional theories with the minimal amount of supersymmetry and their applications to the study of domain walls in supersymmetric four-dimensional gauge theories. The position further requires familiarity with generalized symmetries and applications towards non-invertibile symmetries in four-dimensional non-Lagrangian quantum field theories.
