Course Assistant - Hiring in process/Finished, not possible to apply

Air water and landscape, our research an education focuses on the fundamentals of atmospheric, hydrological and landscape formation processes as well as their interaction with human activity.

Duties
As a course assistant you work with planning, administration, implementation and post-reporting of courses in collaboration with the course responsible teacher and other teachers involved in the courses. Together with the teachers you will prepare course material for seminars, exercises and field activities, as well assisting teachers during teaching. Work may also include assisting with course administration and to prepare and compile material for the development of courses and together with the teacher and the director of studies develop the education.

Requirements
Current experience in geoscientific university education. Good computer experience and good language skills in English in speech and writing. You should be at the end of your university Earth Sciences studies or within two years of your degree

Additional qualifications
Driving licence to be able to assist during fieldwork. Personal qualities are important, such as a good ability to listen and collaborate as well as meet and provide space for people from different backgrounds and perspectives. You also need to be able to take initiative and to be able to solve problems in a constructive way, as well as be able to independently run and complete tasks within given time frames, even during temporary work peaks.

About the employment
The employment is a temporary position, 10.5 months. Scope of employment 50 %. Starting
date 2022-08-15 or as agreed. Placement: Uppsala
