Uppsala University, Enheten för ledningsstöd och samverkan

Uppsala Health Summit is an international, annual arena for decision-makers, opinion builders and experts for dialogue on how we to implement knowledge from research and innovations for better health and healthcare. All delegates are personally invited, and come from industry, politics, academia, healthcare and civil society, and from different parts of the world. The theme of the summit, which takes place in October 2022, is Healthy Lives from Sustainable Food Systems.

We are looking for 1-2 persons who, under a limited time, can assist us in mapping key actors, organizations and persons that are suitable to receive an invitation to the summit 2022.

Additional administrative tasks may be part of your duties.

More information on Uppsala Health Summit is available on our web:  http://www.uppsalahealthsummit.se.

Duties

In your work, you will receive support from, and report to Uppsala Health Summit’s project management and the experts in the program committee, i.e. researchers from different scientific areas at i.e. Uppsala University and the Swedish University of Agriculture, in addition to external, mainly international contacts.

This is a part-time job that can to a large extent be carried out from home at hours that suit your

schedule, but you must of course be able to connect with people when they are available.

Requirements
The successful candidate will have a basic prior interest in health, agriculture and/or food policy, and preferably already have some insights in the focus area of this summit, food systems from a public health perspective.

To be suitable for this job, you should:

  • be diligent and meticulous
  • feel comfortable initiating contact with persons you have never met
