Teaching assistant 30% for the Energy transition – Sustainability and leadership bachelor programme, Wind energy section Campus Gotland

The Department of Earth Sciences is one of the most complete such academic departments in Europe. Our research focuses on subjects that range from the Earth’s core to the atmosphere, on scales from submicroscopic structures in minerals to the formation of mountains and oceans. We have teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels. Our courses offer a wide range within the geoscience area and several of the department"s programs have received the highest rating in evaluations by the Swedish National Agency for Higher Education (Högskoleverket) and the Swedish Higher Education Authority (Universitetskanslersämbetet). Duties
As a teaching assistant you have a part time employment, as a complement to your ongoing studies.

  •  Assist in teaching and administration of the programme and courses
  •  Conduct administrative tasks in the group
  •  Marketing our bachelor programme
  •  Contacting incoming students

Requirements
For employment as a teaching assistant, it is a requirement that you are admitted as a student at undergraduate or advanced level within the Energy transition – Sustainability and leadership bachelor programme. Fluent in both written and spoken English.

About the employment
The employment is a temporary position according to the Higher Education Ordinance chapter 5 § 12. Scope of employment 30%. Starting date 1 May 2022 or as agreed. Placement: Visby, Gotland.
