Researcher in Mathematics - Hiring in process/Finished, not possible to apply

The Department of Mathematics conducts research and provides education at undergraduate and graduate levels in mathematics, applied mathematics and statistics. The number of employees is 130, including 40 PhD students. The Department has three research programs: analysis and probability, algebra and geometry, applied mathematics and statistics. Duties
Conduct research in mathematics, applied mathematics or statistics. Research at the intersection between probability theory and discrete mathematics, in particular analytic and probabilistic techniques for the study of random discrete structures such as random trees or random permutations.

Teaching and administration can also be included, no more than 20 percent.

Requirements
PhD exam in mathematics, applied mathematics or statistics. Documented ability to excellent research in mathematics, applied mathematics or statistics. The applicant´s research should harmonize well with the department´s research group in Probability Theory and Combinatorics.

Proficiency in spoken and written English.
