The Streuff Group is working in the fields of homogeneous catalysis and organic synthesis. Read more about there research at Streuff Group webpage. The project will deal with the application of catalytic cleavage reactions in the reclaiming of certain types of polymer waste within the framework of a FORMAS project. The candidate will actively engage in all aspects of the research planning and execution.

Duties
Tasks will include the synthesis of substrates, and catalysts, reaction optimization and application, analysis and interpretation of the results, full characterization of the products, precise documentation, as well as reporting the results on a regular basis and forward planning.

Besides carrying out the research project, the candidate will participate in the group organization and supervision of graduate/undergraduate students in the group.

Requirements
To qualify for an employment as a researcher you must have a PhD degree or a foreign degree equivalent to a PhD degree in Organic Chemistry or Polymer Chemistry.
