A position as a project assistant in plankton ecology is available at the Department of Ecology and Genetics, Limnology.

Project description: The project is about ecosystem consequences of algal blooms in brown water lakes. 

Duties: Laboratory analyses of plankton through microscopy and QPCR technique. Chemical analyses of water samples for POC, iron and chlorophyll.

Qualifications required: University studies in Limnology or something similar. Candidates must be able to express themselves very well in spoken as well as written English. We put a lot of emphasis on diligence and collaboration skills.

Qualifications desired: Previous experience of plankton ecology and related laboratory work.

Salary: Individual salary.

Starting date: 2021-11-01.

Position: The position is a temporary position until 2021-12-31 on 100%.

Scope of employment: 100%.
