The project aims to understand the dynamics of organic matter in various ecosystems, in particular aquatic ecosystems and wetlands. 

Duties: Within the employment as a Project assistant you will:

  • Assist in field sampling, which also including driving car and handling boats.
  • Processing of samples in the laboratory, including chemical and biological analysis.
  • Assist in setting up and performance of lab experiments.
  • Preparation for field and lab work, such as cleaning and packing of equipment.

Requirements: University studies in limnology or similar. Experience from field work, in particular working from open boats, and experience from field and lab work relevant to ecosystem ecology, in particular water chemistry analysis. Candidates must be able to express themselves very well in spoken as well as written English. We put a lot of emphasis on diligence, a good sense of responsibility and collaboration skills. Driver’s license is a requirement.

Salary: Individual salary.

Starting date: As soon as possible.

Type of employment: Temporary position 12 months.
