Do you want to promote mental health for women giving birth?

Within the research group, we have many researchers who work with perinatal mental health and run large, population-based studies, such as BASIC (www.basicstudie.se), PACT (www.pactstudie.se) and Mom2B (www.mom2b.se), as well as register-based research. Our colleagues create and have access to rich data sources and well-structured hypotheses in the subject, and work at the highest international level in the field. We are now looking for a research assistant, who can support us in this work.

Duties: Tasks related to the recruitment of participants, data collection and data management in the above and possibly new studies. Support the implementation, administrative coordination and documentation in the studies. Management of biological samples, as well as related archiving work and maintenance of existing biobanks. Literature review and design of relevant presentations. Planning and possible implementation of research visits. The tasks also include being administrative support for the research group leader in terms of, for example, archiving, meeting coordination and booking of trips. Additional tasks may be added within the framework of the employment.

Requirements: We are looking for a qualified candidate who has a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as behavioural sciences, public health, sociology, psychology or caring Sciences. Experience with administrative systems and very good knowledge of MS Office, reference management systems, and a statistical system such as SPSS, R or STATA is required. The applicant must be able to express themselves well, both orally and in writing in English. Good ability to work together is a requirement, as is the ability to work independently. Furthermore, great emphasis is placed on personal suitability such as flexibility, problem-solving ability and some stress tolerance. Taking and communicating initiatives and a being structured and organized are important for this employment. We are looking for a person who is efficient, is able to prioritize among many different tasks, is able to handle rapid changes in tasks, is careful and accurate, and also deeply interested in supporting and continuously developing the group.

Additional qualifications: The applicant should have a great interest in, and /or have good prior knowledge of relevant areas for the projects, such as psychiatry and women's health. Previous experience of scientific writing, work with the journal system Cosmic and the Redcap system, as well as documented experience of work relating to the development of research projects and relatively well written and spoken Swedish are seen as important extra merits. The work is located during office hours.

Salary: Individual salary.

Starting date: As soon as possible or as otherwise agreed.

Type of employment: Temporary employment for one year.

Scope of employment: 100% or adjustment at the request of the employee to 75%
