Two research assistants in Human geography - Hiring in process/Finished, not possible to apply

Duties: You will do research on the nexus between the far right and the environment in contemporary France, within the research project “White skin, black fuel: Investigating the (anti-)climate politics of European right-wing populism”, financed by Formas. The assistants will do interviews with far right activists in France, contribute in writing research papers together with others members in the research group, and preferably be able to compare and discuss the French case with similar cases in Scandinavia.

Requirements: To qualify for a position as research assistant you must have a Masters degree or a foreign degree equivalent to a Masters degree in human geography, human ecology or other relevant discipline. Knowledge about the French political situation in general, and about the environmental policies of the far right in particular, are required. Excellent written and oral skills in French and written skills in English are required. Oral and written skills in a Scandinavian language are also preferable.

Salary: Individual salary.

Starting date: 16-08-2021 or as otherwise agreed.

Type of employment: Temporary position for 4 months.
