Description/duties: Uppsala University invites applications for a 1-year researcher position in preschool children’s development at the Department of Psychology, Uppsala Child and Baby Lab. The position is financed by Skandia Idéer för Livet. The researcher will be expected to conduct collaborative research in line with the goals of the grant to examine the development of preschool children and the effects of preschool environments on their development. The position is funded for 1 year with possibility for extension.
Requirements: The candidate must have a Ph.D. in developmental psychology or a related field. Excellent skills in spoken and written Swedish and English are required. Research experience with young children (especially 2 to 6 years of age) using eye tracking and/or experimental behavioral methods, questionnaire research, statistical and programming skills (e.g., R, MATLAB), and good project management skills are also required.
