Uppsala universitet, Institutionen för speldesign

The Department of Game Design is located at Campus Gotland in Visby. This Campus has the best of both worlds: the full-scale University’s broad range and prominence in education and research, and also the unique study environment of a small-scale campus. Here, our education is conducted in the area of game design, and we conduct research that focuses on basic issues in game design.

The Department offers education in the main area, game design, with its four Bachelor’s Programmes in Game Design, Game Design and Graphics, Game Design and Programming, and Game Design and Project Management, and a Master’s Programme in Game Design. The Department also offers freestanding courses on the Campus and at a distance, in game design, graphics and game programming.
