Teaching assistant at the Wind Power Section - Hiring in process/Finished, not possible to apply

The Department of Earth Sciences is one of the most complete such academic departments in Europe. Our research focuses on subjects that range from the Earth’s core to the atmosphere, on scales from submicroscopic structures in minerals to the formation of mountains and oceans. We have teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels. Our courses offer a wide range within the geoscience area and several of the department"s programs have received the highest rating in evaluations by the Swedish National Agency for Higher Education (Högskoleverket) and the Swedish Higher Education Authority (Universitetskanslersämbetet).

The position as teaching assistants, part time at 30% 01-02-2021 – 31-12-2021, will be placed at the Wind Power Section at Campus Gotland, Visby.

Duties/Project description: As a teaching assistant you have a part time employment, as a complement to your ongoing studies.

• Marketing our programme and courses on Bachelor level.
• Contacting incoming students.
• Assist in teaching and administration of the programme and courses.
• Other administrative tasks in the group.

Requirements: For employment as a teaching assistant, it is a requirement that you are admitted as a student at undergraduate or advanced level, within the Wind Power Project Management field.
Fluent in both written and spoken English.

Salary: Individual salary.  

Starting date: 01-02-2021 or as otherwise agreed.

Type of employment: Temporary position according to the Higher Education Ordinance chapter 5 § 12.

Scope of employment: 30 %
