Two researchers in complex dynamics - Hiring in process/Finished, not possible to apply

The Department of Mathematics conducts research and provides education at undergraduate to graduate level in mathematics, applied mathematics and statistics.The number of employees is 120, including 30 PhD students.The Department has three research programs: analysis and probability, algebra and geometry, applied mathematics and statistics.

Duties: Conducting research in complex dynamics, more specifically concerning  the problem of partial hyperbolicity for Henon-like maps in the complex setting and the geometry of their Julia sets. 

Requirements: PhD exam in mathematics, applied mathematics or statistics. Previous research in complex dynamics with a particular emphasis on the theory of complex Henon maps. Proficiency in spoken and written English.

Salary: Individual salary.

Starting date: 21 January 2021 or as otherwise agreed.
