Student position: International Project Assistant - Hiring in process/Finished, not possible to apply

The Unit for Global Partnerships is a part of the Division for Internationalisation and is responsible for Uppsala University’s international collaboration projects and networks (https://www.uu.se/en/about-uu/international/collaboration-projects/). We are now looking for a student who would like to work part-time with design and communication as an international project assistant.

Duties:

Uppsala University participates in a large number of collaboration projects on various topics including innovation and university-industry collaboration in Latin America, improving employability for recent graduates in Vietnam, the organisation of a research and innovation week in South Africa and much more. Your role would be to help communicating and administering our projects.

• Designing and updating project websites with content including text, images and videos
• Photographing, filming and editing
• Designing posters, brochures and other marketing material
• Gather information and prepare project reporting
• Assist at digital project meetings

Requirements:

You are currently a full-time student at Uppsala University (Campus Uppsala or Campus Gotland) and have completed at least one year of university studies with passing grades. You have a strong ability to work as part of a team, are creative and used to taking initiatives. Since we are working with organisations worldwide you need to be able to speak and write English fluently.

You have experience in:

• Web design/web publishing
• Graphic design
• Photography/filming/editing

Additional qualifications:

• Experience in writing texts for communication purposes
• Experience in administrative work
• Experience of working or studying abroad

Salary: Individual salary.

Starting date: As otherwise agreed.

Type of employment: Temporary hourly remunerated position.

Scope of employment: 10-25%
