The Department of Peace and Conflict Research was established in 1971 to conduct peace research and offer courses in peace and conflict studies. Currently approx. 80 persons are employed at the Department and at present some 300-400 students are enrolled every academic year. Courses offered include undergraduate and postgraduate courses, as well as a PhD programme. For more information, visit www.pcr.uu.se
The department is now looking for a substitute lecturer for a part-time employment (30%), during 1 January – 31 December 2021.
Tasks: Teaching in several of the department's courses at basic and advanced level, with a focus on research methods and supervision. The position involves conducting teaching, including time planning, reviewing of literature, preparing and following course budgets, and compiling course evaluations. The teaching language is English.
Qualifications
Emphasis will be placed on personal suitability, as well as scientific and pedagogical skills.
Merit / Other: Previous experience of the tasks included in the service.
Salary: Individual pay.
Starting date: 1 January 2021.
Type of employment: temporary employment, ending 31 December 2021.
Scope of employment: 30 %.
