Researcher in representation theory - Hiring in process/Finished, not possible to apply

The Department of Mathematics conducts research and provides education at undergraduate to graduate level in mathematics, applied mathematics and statistics. The number of employees is 120, including 30 PhD students. The Department has three research programs: analysis and probability, algebra and geometry, applied mathematics and statistics.

Duties: Conduct research in representation theory of Lie algebras, especially category O. Teaching and administration can be included, no more than 20 percent.

Requirements: PhD exam in mathematics and documented experience of research in representation theory of Lie algebras, especially category O. Ability to teach in Swedish or English is a requirement as well as proficiency in spoken and written English. 

Ranking criteria: In ranking eligible candidates, special importance will be given to scientific skills. In filling the position the university aims to recruit the person who, in the combined evaluation of competence, skills and documented qualifications, is judged most suitable to carry out and develop the work-in-hand and to contribute to a positive development of the department.
