Postdoctoral position in synchrotron-CT-physics… - Hiring in process/Finished, not possible to apply

Project description: The post doc will focus on the in-vivo study of bronchioles and acinar structures in normal and pathological animal models. To this aim, high-resolution fast computed tomography imaging will be developed with the colleagues at the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF, Grenoble France).

Requirements: To qualify for an employment as a postdoctor you must have a PhD degree or a foreign degree equivalent to a PhD degree in physics, or image processing. The PhD degree must have been obtained no more than three years prior to the application deadline. The three year period can be extended due to circumstances such as sick leave, parental leave, duties in labour unions, etc.

Experience in experimental synchrotron radiation imaging techniques, computed tomography and in-vivo small animal imaging will be important assets for the selection of the candidate.

Excellent knowledge in the English language is necessary and it is an advantage to have a good knowledge of the French language since part of the planned work will be done at the (ESRF) in Grenoble, France.
