Research Assistants - Hiring in process/Finished, not possible to apply

The Department of Economics is one of the largest departments within the Faculty of Social Sciences with about 100 employees from a dozen countries. Each year, approximately 1 000 students attend one of our courses at the undergraduate, master's and postgraduate level. The research focus is in the areas of labor economics, macroeconomics and public economics. Researchers at the department are often hired as experts in public investigations and in the media and interact in many ways with the surrounding society. Job description
We are looking for research assistants for a temporary position that lasts for a maximum of two years. As a research assistant, you work closely with the department's researchers and assist them in their research projects. The work covers everything from data collection and processing to assist the researchers who do advanced econometric analysis in research projects with large register-based data.

Qualifications
The applicant must have a Bachelor degree in Economics. Good knowledge of both Swedish and English is a requirement. You have a genuine interest in research as well as a great interest in social issues and economics. Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities such as collaborative ability, initiative, flexibility and ability to independently analyze data.

Additional merits
A master´s degree in Economics or have commenced the second year of a master's program in the field. Education with a focus on quantitative analysis is a merit and experience with programming, such as in Stata, is valuable.

The application must include a personal letter that clearly states the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience (max 2 pages), CV and a copy of the bachelor or master´s thesis.
