Researcher in mathematics with the specialization in orthogonal polynomials and/or random matrices - Hiring in process/Finished, not possible to apply

The Department of Mathematics conducts research and provides education at undergraduate to graduate level in mathematics, applied mathematics and statistics. The number of employees is 120, including 30 PhD students. The Department has three research programs: analysis and probability, algebra and geometry, applied mathematics and statistics.

Duties: Conduct research in spectral theory, addressing applications of orthogonal polynomials in random matrix theory. Teaching and administration can also be included, no more than 20 percent.

Requirements: PhD exam in mathematics and documented experience of research in one or more of the following fields: spectral theory of orthogonal polynomials; random matrix theory; operator theory. Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
