Swedish Institute of Space Physics, Uppsala, Sweden is looking for PhD students in Space Physics. The positions are related to studies of space plasmas
We are looking for PhD students to study fundamental space plasma areas, such as magnetic reconnection sites, shocks, turbulence regions, ionospheres and kinetic processes there.
We are looking for students in each of the following science topics:
The positions are available at the Uppsala office at the Swedish Institute of Space Physics (IRF), located at the Ångström Laboratory in Uppsala, Sweden, starting at the latest in the second half of 2019 for a total duration of four years. The PhD students will belong to the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Uppsala University and must therefore fulfill the university requirements.
