A position as a researcher in speciation, hybridization and gene expression in flycatchers is available at the Department of Ecology and Genetics, program in Evolutionary Biology.

Project description: Research about speciation, hybridization and gene expression in flycatchers

Duties: Own research, some supervision, participation in research group.

 Qualifications required: A doctoral degree, or a foreign degree equivalent to a doctoral degree, in ecology/evolutionary biology/genetics and post-doctoral research experiencei. Candidates must be able to express themselves in spoken as well as written English. In ranking eligible candidates, special importance will be given to scientific skills.

Qualifications desired: Experience from the model system in question is preferable.

Position: The position is a permanent position. Individual salaries are applied.
