Uppsala universitet, instiutionen för immunologi, genetik och patologi

Description of subject area: Increased knowledge of the developmental origin, composition and function of lymphatic vessels, and of the consequences of their impaired functionality in various conditions with a genetic or other background, makes lymphatic vessel biology a topical and important area of medical research. The planned professorship in lymphatic vessel biology is expected to lead the establishment of an internationally leading research programme.

The applicant must have a documented ability to teach in Swedish and English. If special reasons apply, a person who does not have an ability to teach in Swedish may be required to acquire this ability within two years.
