Uppsala Health Summit is an international, annual arena for decision-makers, opinion builders and experts for dialogue on how we to implement knowledge from research and innovations for better health and healthcare. All delegates are personally invited, and come from industry, politics, academia, healthcare and civil society, and from different parts of the world. The theme of the summit, which takes place in October 2019, is Healthy Urban Childhoods. How can we plan, develop and build our cities in a way that promote children’s mental and physical health and wellbeing?
We are looking for 1-2 persons who, under a limited time, can assist us in mapping key actors, organisations and persons that are suitable to receive an invitation to the summit 2019.
Additional administrative tasks may be part of your duties.

Duties:
The mapping of key stakeholders shall focus on organisations and persons with influence in the area of urban planning and children’s health, either directly because the organisation’s area of activity is of relevance, or via a formal or informal influence on policy making, nationally and/or internationally.
The aim is to establish a relevant and up-to-date list of invitees, with verified contact details.
In your work, you will receive support from, and report to Uppsala Health Summit’s project management and the experts in the program committee, i.e. researchers from different scientific areas at i.a. Uppsala University and the Swedish University of Agriculture, in addition to external, mainly international contacts.
This is a part-time job that can to a large extent be carried out from home at hours that suit your schedule, but you must of course be able to connect with people when they are available. Considering that we are working with contacts in all parts of the world, you may sometimes need to work at odd hours.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have a basic prior interest in health policy, and preferably already have some insights in the focus area of this summit, urban planning and children’s health issues.

You may be about to finish a master in subjects like Global Health, Public Health, Caring Sciences, Pharmaceutical Development, Marketing or Political Sciences, or you may already have finished your studies and are now looking for your next opportunities.
