Since 1992, Centre for environmental and development studies (CEMUS) has pursued student-driven education and advanced level in the broad and interdisciplinary environment and sustainability field. The Cemus Research Forum (CEFO) has grown out of Cemus and has since 2002 conducted education and research on sustainability issues. Cemus is the seat of the 10th year Zennströmprofessor in climate management. Read more about our research, collaboration and education at www.cemus.uu.se.

Duties: The work involves contract research around climate change leadership; especially the work around carbon budgets and collaboration with municipalities and counties. The work is both outward with contacts with external guests and partners, but also consists of independent work. The work also entails building on experiences from previous projects in a creative spirit while developing new initiatives together with others.

Requirements: Master degree, preferably in sustainable development. Documented experience from climate change/mitigation related questions in higher education. Good computer skills and proficiency in spoken and written english.

Additional qualifications: The work places great demands on the ability to collaborate and to independently run applicationprocesses for external funding. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability, such as the ability to take own initiatives and solve problems in a manner constructive manner for the organisation.

Salary: Individually negotiated salary.
