Research assistant, Department of Peace and Conflict Studies - Hiring in process/Finished, not possible to apply

The Department of Peace and Conflict Research was established in 1971 to conduct peace  research and offer Courses in peace and conflict studies. Currently approx. 70 persons are employed at the Department and at present some 300-400 students are enrolled every academic year. Courses offered include undergraduate and post-graduate courses, as well as a Ph. D. programme.

Requirements
Master degree within peace and conflict or area that the project leader finds equivalent. The assistant should have a strong knowledge of experimental methods and the quantitative techniques typically employed to analyse experimental data, such as ANOVA and multiple regression analysis. Fluent in both Swedish and English (verbal and written).

Additional qualifications
A strong background in and knowledge of experimental economics and experimental psychology is also highly valued. Personal suitability will be taken into consideration.

Duties
The research assistant will participate in the analysis of new experimental data and produce two research articles under the guidance of the lead author.

Salary: Individually negotiated salary.
