Researcher in algebra - Hiring in process/Finished, not possible to apply

The Department of Mathematics conducts research and provides education at undergraduate to graduate level in mathematics, applied mathematics and statistics. The Department has approximately 120 employees.

Duties: Conduct research in higher representation theory, especially 2-representation theory of finitary 2-categories. Teaching and administration can also be included, no more than 20 percent.

Requirements: PhD exam in mathematics. Documented experience of research in higher representation theory. Ability to teach in Swedish or English is a requirement as well as proficiency in spoken and written English.

Ranking criteria: In ranking eligible candidates, special importance will be given to scientific skills. In filling these positions the University aims to recruit the persons who, in the combined evaluation of competence, skills and documented qualifications, are judged most suitable to carry out and develop the work-in-hand and to contribute to a positive development of the department.
